Granada Other Attractions

 

In mid-April the Granada International Young Filmmakers Festival of Granada takes place, which attracts actors and film directors from around the world.

In mid-May is the Festival Internacional de Poesia Ciudad de Granada.

In June Granada celebrates the Festival of Cinema South, dedicated to emerging filmmakers from Asia, South America, and Africa, with outdoor screenings in various public spaces of Granada (the Plaza of Paisegas).

For about 20 days between June and July, the Festival Internacional de Musica y Danza de Granada takes place, and Fex, an Extension Festival around the city, is an art exhibition of great importance and quality.

In early September and November, we celebrate the International Week of Organ Week Grenada and the International Academy of Body Granada respectively. Both events bring together the best organists of the national and international scene, attracting people from all over Spain

In mid-November we celebrate the International Jazz Festival of Granada, one of the most important and oldest festivals of Europe dedicated to this music.

Throughout the course of the year you can attend concerts given by the Orquesta Ciudad de Granada in the Auditorium Manuel de Falla.

In March they celebrate the Internation Comic Exhibition in Granada, which held its first edition in 1994. For one week an audience from around the country is surrounded by European, Americans, and Japanese authors.
