Royal Hospital Gardens surround the building to complement the facade of windows and a plateresque cover made in 1640 by Alonso de Mena, which represents the Virgin and praying effigies of Ferdinand and Isabella (Reyes Catolicos) and has platbands with lawn, plants, and trees softening the slope of the land with hills and stairs.

Walk Gardens and Pump Room at the end of the Carrera del Genil, in the right bank of the river, are the rides and the Pump Room. The gardens have a total area of 8085 m², are shaped and parallel to the longitudinal course of the Genil River, with flowerbeds and hedges, mostly boxwood and privet.

The areas of residence are distributed throughout the gardens, forming a total of 11 circles: circle in cruise circular pond; arbor trees of Jupiter circling a date palm, with a small cedar gazebo; the Titas; two shortcuts, “the Door of the Lions" and “Bridge of Witches”; pergolas; three small circles with palm trees; a monument to the Duke of San Pedro de Galatina, source of the pump; a monument to Francisco de Paula Valladar; and finally, source of Ninfa.

The combination of these gardens, the two bridges over the river, the Carrera, and the Plaza del Campillo, have been declared BIC, with the rank of Garden History (2007).

Victory Gardens: These are found where there was the old bull ring, the rose gardens, opened in 1960. It is formed by wide rides slope and is crowned by the monument to the triumph of the Virgin and a source of 75 m long with lighting and water.

In the gardens there is a monument on the right that is dedicated to St John of God, while on the left is a low circular fountain.

Violon Gardens: Located next to the Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones de Granada and develops along two perpendicular axes, walking up a small palm tree, with lime trees and gardens set along the side and rows of bananas.

The esplanade is the place where, on January 2, 1492, a meeting of the Catholic Monarchs with Boabdil was held, and by 1997 it was placed in a memorial. There is a path of oranges the hermitage of San Sebastian and in an area with Cinnamon Tree Gardens Violon complete.

Palace Gardens of Cordoba: the palace is in these gardens are home to the Municipal Historical Archive. The gardens are accessed by a door to a courtyard with a gallery in its northern part and a fountain in the center.

The park developed from different walks that are complementary and related throughout their journey, with features such as the bandstand and fountain with wisteria pergola in the back.

One of the main elements of the park is the canal, crossed by stone bridges that give way to pictures of aromatics to one side and a tour of maples on the other. There is also a petanque.

Federico Garcia Lorca Park: Federico Garcia Lorca Park is located in the Camino de Purchil, has four entries, an extension of 71,500 m², and is built around the Huerta de San Vicente, on land that formerly belonged to the family of Federico Garcia Lorca.

The park consists of various walks, including two avenues—the Paseo de la Alameda, which runs parallel to the river and goes to the pond—and the walk of linden trees, from the main entrance to the service areas.

The city of Granada has a significant number of parks and gardens, with many popular historical and linkages between these spaces, including:

Campo del Principe Gardens: From its location you can admire a splendid view of the neighborhoods of the Antequeruela and Mauror. At present (2008) evenings and nights are bustling with a lively atmosphere at the many bars that enliven it.

In the open there prominently stands a stone cross with the effigy of Christ, who is the protagonist of several religious events during Holy Week in Granada and on Good Friday, the day on which some Grenadians flock to this place to ask three favors of Christ.

Plaza de la Trinidad: Located on a site that was ceded in 1893 by the State to the city to build the plaza. Throughout its existence it has undergone some reforms and now consists of walking under leafy trees, next colorful parterres, centered by a beautiful octagonal fountain that dates back to the 18th century and is from the extinct monastery that occupied the area.

Park February 28: Has an area of 3165 m², is situated in Poligono de Cartuja, is divided into different areas that are opened from a central stone promenade that results in an octagonal font, and has a small theater.

In every area of the park, there is a central element that characterizes it: “statue” with a sculpture; “reading” with a locker for books and newspapers; “the Chopera with a model”; the “source ”; theater; forest; “track” with sports; and the garden with parterres and privets and palm trees as a key organizing space.

Almunia de Aynadamar Park: Located in Andalusia, on the Avenue of the Faculty of Fine Arts, the surface area is 30,000 m². The park has 12 entries and a triangular distribution surrounded by a fence and a wall, in addition to various screens in each plant on of the sides: cypress, Pruna, hawthorn, and laurel fire.

Some brick arches define a second square, with a fountain and low pass cypresses leads to the front door. To the right is a garden, and to the left are two parallel walks and a romantic canopy of laurel.

Park Zaidin: it has an area of 7178 m2 and is surrounded by wooden fences and hedges of hawthorn fire, linden, and maple, with eight inputs and is developed along three straight walks of land, planting boxes, in which some of the plants are identified with stone pillars, with emphasis on spices.

On the boulevard there is an alternation of areas of residence and dirt roads and stone, which are surrounded by different tree species highlighting the various sections, and some olive trees, orange trees, and Jupiter.

One of the most characteristic is the Chopera, which is at the beginning of the boulevard, with two species of poplar trees that surround the mall.

 

Delimited by these walks and roads, there are several areas that end up setting this park: Neoplasticism gardens, irrigation ditches, the source cybernetics, a riparian forest, and the rose gardens.

New Source of University Park: The land the campus is on was located in 1944 and was designed for a large park in the city. From 1977 onward a complex of buildings and facilities were built, including the formation of a garden.

The completion of Garden Park University of New Source in collaboration with the City of Granada, ICONA, and Department of Botany, the University of Granada is surrounded by a fence, and the landscaped area has five entrances.

 

The variety of tree and shrub plant species (oleanders, yuccas, poplar, plum, pine, cedar, tree of love, among others) are arranged randomly, presenting a degree of naturalness in its distribution.

It is worth noting the existence of geological blocks, with badges with their origin, there is also a sculpture cast in bronze, sinuous shapes of Moreno Romero (1977), with the “Constitution” of the Network Monitoring and Control of Air Quality.
